PArtnership with Dp/Director Dave Brick
Meeting in a Boston University production class, Adrianna and Brick became fast friends. While Adrianna pursued a post production career in creative editorial, Brick built his own career as a director/cinematographer. He approaches his work with a creative vision that best serves each production and with the technical knowledge to execute that vision efficiently. Brick has leveraged this talent to deliver big budget shots even when production is tapped out on resources. With an extensive gear inventory, including RED cameras, every item needed for a shoot is readily available for transport to set. In addition, Brick’s 5,000 square foot studio is always an option where product or talent can be shot in an isolated environment. The studio can be pre-lit and client can monitor remotely in real-time. All of this includes comprehensive production insurance.
The years of experience in their respective niches within film/video production make Adrianna and Brick uniquely capable of achieving quality “soup to nuts” production and fun, effective, high quality content.
The Atlantic x Amazon x Amgen
Shot in Munich, Thousand Oaks, New York and Nantucket, this piece highlights how Amgen is leveraging AWS's technology in the race to solve cancer. Advances in biomedicine have turned science fiction into science fact, enabling doctors to finally attack cancer without devastating consequences to the human body. Using in-camera effects, Brick worked to translate this new frontier into a visible format.
1800 Tequila - The Fire Walk
One of a three part cocktail series for 1800 Tequila, the brief called for an exciting take on 1800's Fire Walk cocktail. Exciting use of camera work from Brick makes this an excellent tabletop piece!
The Atlantic x Amazon x NFL
Traveling to the NFL Network's LA studios, NYC headquarters, and Seattle Seahawks' training facility. This piece focuses on how AWS is helping America's biggest sport incorporate technology to make football more accessible to their fanbase. This shoot required a nimble approach- being able to shoot key interviews with talent whose tight schedules only allowed for a few minutes on camera, working in data sensitive environments, and around a team in competition to be the best in the league.
Josh D Farms
With the burgeoning cannabis industry, there is fierce competition to be the best in breed. Josh D has a leg up on the rest of the pack- with a backstory fit for an HBO series, Josh D was the pioneer behind OG Kush. With the cannabis industry only beginning to legalize, and working with food-grade crops this shoot presented many challenges. Equipment had to be thoroughly sterilized to protect crops, the crew had to go through multiple security checkpoints, and the equipment all needed to be able to continue working in demanding greenhouse conditions.
CPR PSA with the Broadway Cast of Chicago
When life is stressful on a film set, there's an old adage: "we're not saving lives." This shoot finally bucked that trend. Working with the cast of Broadway's longest running musical, including guest star Brandy, Brick worked to create a piece that ran heavily in a campaign on television, at baseball stadiums, and in multiple social venues.
Victor Wooten on DR Strings
Part philosopher, part bass player, Grammy winner Victor Wooten provides insight on his thoughts on the character provided by his strings when he plays music.
Mercedes-Benz - Details
Wanting to juxtapose their craftsmanship and attention to detail, Mercedes Benz linked Brick up with Stephen Kenn, who creates intricate, thoughtful furniture. His designs and storytelling play alongside the features of the C-Class, creating a synergy in care for quality.
Jo Malone
This piece played in storefronts for Sephora, designed to catch the eye of mall-goers, and draw them into the store.
AIG - Plan For 100 with the PGA's Paul Azinger
It's hard to describe this shoot without it sounding like a humblebrag: an afternoon on Bradenton Country Club's back nine with PGA champion Paul Azinger. This shoot entailed composing shots on the fly, frequently working with natural light while communicating with a crew constantly on the move, and the devastating realization that Brick's putting game needs a lot of work.
Estée Lauder - Double Wear
(Tabletop only) In super slow motion, everything is magical. Especially the process of capturing it. Needing the entire product to be in focus while shooting it in a glamorous fashion presented major technical challenges. Using specialty lights, Brick was able to meet the client's aesthetic needs while also achieving the logistical demands of the shoot.
Vint & York - James
This production was extra fun to shoot due to the movement, POV shots (tiny cameras mounted on eyeglasses!), and a day in the life in NYC as the backdrop.
Lion in the Mane - Tail Lights Music Video
Beating out more than 4,000 other bands to win a place on the lineup for the Firefly Music Festival. The creative team behind the festival wanted a piece to showcase the band's experience- not just as musicians, but as music fans. The video follows the band as they explore Firefly, take in all it has to offer, and perform on stage as an official band in one of the biggest festivals in the world.
